Hello—
Goodbye July!
Shall we take a summer stroll in the garden?—metaphorically speaking, of course. I'm dreadful at "digging in the dirt". Plants and flowers take one look at me and keel over—saving themselves the long drawn out process of withering away. However, while I'm at a total loss with flora, I do appreciate the innumerable lessons it offers.
Let's take something mundane like weeds. They can overrun an area, sap the possibilities of it and even be eyesores. And pull, limit and eliminate them as we might, they still seem to abide.
And what happens when we get so focused on the "perfect" yard? wrapped up in minutia and details—items that "need" our attention? The other tasks at hand and priorities can fall into disarray. When we're "In the Weeds"(2:12), it's at the expense of the rest of our garden.— (YouTube Link or Facebook Link).
And while we're wandering the grounds, let's consider two other pieces from the SwaffWords© Archives that can help us thrive.
"Mulch" (2:52)—As we move through our healing process, how can we safely allow for new growth?
"Crap" (2:21)—What if all the "crap" we go through isn't a seemingly endless slog but rather something that actually helps us mature?
"…luscious nuggets of healing and wisdom."

Continue to stay safe and well.
Onwards—gently.
Until next time—
Thanks much.
