Hello—
And Welcome to May Day! May Day!
Just how did this become a distress signal? because it sounds like the French word m'aider, which means "help me". It's rather fitting for these times, don't you think?
As we all continue to cautiously make our ways through the mine field / mind field of this virus, our practice is still right at hand, if not in our faces. We've so many chances throughout the day—even from moment to moment—to dance with boundaries, reframe our anger and even get back to basics.
So let's just get to it, shall we?
We've all seen how this virus has exposed our tendency to grasp and hoard as we stockpile all we can when we find an item that's there "For the Taking". Yes, the current upheaval and even dire situations can underscore and even amplify this behavior. And yet—just because something is there for the taking, do you take it? or not? Allowing Your Self a moment to make a
mindful decision can be a timely practice these days. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
And while we're grousing about all the lessons and teachers currently in our lives, let's take this a step further and honor the fact that the investment for experience and knowledge is what I refer to as "Tuition" in
the School of Life. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
Can you dare to take or leave something as you get your money's worth of wisdom and teachings? When we can, it takes the sting out of situations and strengthens our resolve for challenges later on.

While you're there, check out the playlists by scrolling through them, finding a video that speaks to you, and clicking on it. Then watch, learn, and take the teachings right back into your life.

In the meantime, how is your practice around something that is there for the taking? and are you getting your money's worth when it comes to tuition in the school of life?
Keep taking mindful moments throughout your day to just breathe…
Continue to be gentle with Your Self.
Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks much.
Until next time—
Cheers,
Steph
