Hello—
And here we are, ending the first full week of 2020…
How is this new year treating you so far? Has your practice fallen by the wayside? taken a bit of tumble? or have you weathered this transition by keeping it going on some level? All options are just that—options—and we need to remember that ultimately, the practice is just a series of decisions that we make throughout the day. That's all. If a decision isn't serving us, we can just make another one, can't we?
Do you see how I just reframed this? My ability to do that and build on what you already know and can do, is the crux of how I work. So this week, I thought I'd share a bit more about that process and ask a few questions for you to get a sense of where you are in yours.
"Tying Shoes" (2:51)—Here's a very early example of my approach that will reflect how I still work with clients to this day. (YouTube
Link or Facebook Link).
"Comfort Level" (2:15)—Are you comfortable enough in your own skin to do the tangled work that makes you uncomfortable? (YouTube Link or Facebook Link).
Take a moment and share your thoughts with us.
And once you've screened these replays, check out some of my other SwaffWords© on the art of Listening with your Bodymind. All videos are either on my YouTube Channel or in my Facebook Video Library. Each one is a great way to have a quick "mini session" with me—all in about 3 minutes or less. Click on a topic that speaks to you, then just watch, learn, and practice.
Do you know someone who needs to be receiving these weekly SwaffWords©? If so, they can subscribe here.
Curious to know more about my style? There are several ways to do that:
Join my Facebook community , where you'll find like-minded people, along with posts, prompts and reminders for your ongoing
practice.
Rapid Bodymind Clarity will give you a sense of my "cut to the chase" approach and the profound impact it can have on your life.
Or let's start a conversation. We can connect either through my site or via email.
In the meantime, may you continue to "tie your shoes" with ease as you delve into the practice that needs your attention.
Here's to living our blessings and mining our riches.
Thanks much.
Until next time—
Cheers,
Steph
