Hello—
And welcome to October, where we're getting the first glimpses of fall.
I always like this time of year. There can be such an expressive brilliance of color while the very same trees are also going within for what seems to be a kind of death.
It's not. Rather, it's such a great reminder that the pulse of life is ongoing and dimensional rather than linear. While we tend to look at the change of seasons as a fixed moment, they're just reflections of our own process, aren't they?
Diving into that process, this week I decided to ask a question about wanting and remind us all of the wisdom in the phrase "Do Not Disturb".
"Have / Want" (1:53)—"Do you know how to have what you want?" This is a very different question from "Do you know what you want?” Knowing the difference between these two energies can make all the difference in a moment. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
"Do Not Disturb" (2:31)—Sometimes it's best not to dismantle someone's "house of cards"—regardless of how compassionate, loving and well-meaning our intentions might be. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
Please comment on either or both pieces. It's a great way to start a conversation.
