Hello—
…and suddenly, we're just shy of two weeks before Thanksgiving.
With the cold snap here on the east coast and floods threatening Italy, we've been reminded of just how little power we have over nature—as if we have that much power at all.
Out of season phenomena can be a great mirror for the importance of just weathering a moment—regardless of whether it's happening outside our window or not.
And two of the most important practices of weathering a situation can involve patience and being more than gentle with Our Selves.
"Patience" (2:04)—What's your relationship to patience? Are you comfortable with the practice?—or do you err on the side of impatience? Here's a different perspective on weathering those moments of im/patience.(YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
"Generously" (2:15)—Here's a notion. What if we go beyond treating Our Selves gently and opt for treating Our Selves generously? There's an expansion and softening in the moment when we dare to do this. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
