Hello—
…and welcome to all.
Are you ready to bid farewell to June? July begins with the start of next week, and with that, the rush to "enjoy" summer. Somehow, the energy around taking time off for Our Selves is compressed and even compromised during this time of year: gotta be outdoors, gotta have friends over, gotta keep the kids occupied, gotta take a trip, gotta, gotta, gotta—all in the name of having "fun". Really? Does that
really sound like fun to you?
So to counter this tendency, I thought I'd offer two quick practices in this week's videos—reminders of the power of inspiration and the joys of discovering something you hadn't noticed before.
"Inspiration" (2:41)—So often, we look at inspiration as a grand "aha" moment. However, whether we're considering it's divine or mundane aspects, it all comes down to breathing.(YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
"Unheard Of" (2:19)—"There is always something unheard of to be seen…". When we're willing to be aware of lovely, gentle surprises throughout our day, they can appear almost effortlessly. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
Please leave comments on either or both videos. Sharing your insights is a great way for us to learn from one another.
As a reminder, all SwaffWords© videos ( 150+ ) can be found on either my YouTube Channel or in my Facebook Video
Library. As you scroll through the videos on either site, when a topic speaks to you, just click on that video and enjoy a quick teaching from me.
Do you know someone who'd appreciate these SwaffWords©? If so, please share this link with them.
