Hello—
…and a special welcome to new subscribers. We're glad you've joined us!
So it seems we've arrived on the downhill side of May—certainly past The Ides and well on our way to Memorial Day and the unofficial start to summer.
Seasonal and weather shifts can be a great reminder of the only constant that we have—change. They can also be an auspicious time to reflect and reset intentions that we've been working with up to this point.
Are there any tweaks that you want or need to make? Now is a good time to put those in motion.
To help with that practice, this week's videos offer a buzz phrase that reminds us of the task at hand, and a road sign that can make short work of a textured moment.
"Pete and Repeat" (2:09)—Here's a fun way to remind Your Self that much of our process is a matter of just doing what needs to be done—over and over. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
"Tells" (3:03)—Taking a poker practice off the game table and into real life can lead to many short cuts—and—offers another way to discern what's really going on in a moment. (YouTube Link or Facebook Link)
Feel free to comment and share your insights with us on either or both videos. It's always helpful to consider someone else's perspective.
Previous SwaffWords© videos ( around 150 of them ) can be found on both my YouTube Channel and in my Facebook Video
Library. Once there, click on a video for a quick lesson that reminds you how to listen more deeply with your Bodymind.
And if you missed last week's interview with Mindy Totten, and would like to get a better sense of my approach and how I offer it, here are three sections of our chat you might find interesting:
@:53—My journey to the Healing Arts
@6:58—How I do the work I do
@9:30—The people I work with
Do you know anyone who'd like to receive these weekly SwaffWords©? If so, here's the link so they can subscribe.
