"Warring"
Hello and welcome.
Let's get right to it:
"War does not determine who is right;
it only
determines who is left."
Sadly, all too true...
Now I want to clarify two aspects of this quote. We're not talking right / left politically, and for our purposes, I want to take this off the battlefield and bring this into our everyday lives.
You know the range of weaponry: from skirmishes to battles to all out wars that we can so easily fall into. And these flare ups can leave all kinds of wreckage, can't they?
And yet...there we stand: correct; knowing it all; having presented our points of view in ways that make us absolutely right and justified in our behavior. Really?
OK. So you're "right". What does that give you? Satisfaction? For how long? Until the next confrontation? and then what?
Is this your
choice with family? friends? colleagues? strangers?
If so, what does it give you? And what is it teaching you that you might not be learning?
How does "Warring"? (2:07) play out in your life?
