"Vibes"
Farewell to February—almost. One extra day before we leap into next month. May it be a gentle, yet productive leap.
While we considered the powerful emotions of love last time, this time I want to dive a bit deeper—under the emotions and consider the power of vibrations,
or "vibes". What are they really?—they're the quality of energy in the moment. And what is the basis of energy? different forms of movement.
When we're willing to see interactions, behaviors and situations as motion vs. emotion, they immediately become more neutral and less
loaded. And since movement happens at various speeds, lengths, tones, volumes, etc. we can then tune into what is vibrating—or not—and create a much smoother path going forward.
We all know how to recognize and read vibes. Really? Yes, really: "The vibe of this place is
unsettling"; "I'm not getting a good vibe from that person; "I'm vibing with this moment." Sound familiar?
We've all experienced and shared our encounters with vibes. What if we broaden and deepen the practice so we're tapping into it more often and not just when the vibes are
obvious? That way, we can know what's in sync and what isn't by sussing out those very vibes.
