And so summer has begun. Welcome!
While we're kicking back, easing into this season and even chilling, it can also be a good time to look around and witness how we're moving through our lives.
Are we present and accounted for? Are we taking care of Our Selves and each other? Is there some
part of our lives or relationships that is needing more attention than we're giving it?
In short, is there anywhere in your life that's suffering from disrepair?—"a poor condition due to neglect"? Does this definition resonate with you?
Remember—like all parts of our practice, we're working between the extremes of all or nothing. Because we are not perfect (thankfully), there will always be pieces that aren't quite up to speed, that need a bit of tweaking, that are being neglected. The key is to heed those bigger pieces that need more immediate
attention.
So take a moment, or two or three to take stock of your current status: relationships, habits, patterns, aims, wants, intentions, hopes, dreams—fill in your own blank—and then answer the question:
