How is March treating You?—like the lion it supposedly is or the lamb that it is becoming? Or is it somewhere in between those two extremes, like most of life?
While I wrestle with the thought that March feels endless, I thought it might be a good time to consider a practice I've been honing, both personally and professionally.
It deepens the notion that something is unfolding and becoming—in its own right time frame. The first piece involves Trust: "the belief in the reliability of someone or something". The second piece involves Allowing: "giving the time needed for something to unfold".
Now put these two pieces together to become a kind of mini mantra that you can call on in tangled or even fraught moments: "Trust and Allow". Not so easy for many of us, yes?
Let's dive a little deeper.
We all know what happens when we don't trust in a given moment— especially when we dismiss our Inner Wisdom: second guessing it; disregarding it; belittling it; spinning it for another's comfort level, and so on.
We also know what happens when we don't allow for something to become what it is—in its own time frame. (Think water and veggies instead of soup or stew).
Can you draw on these two practices and just "Trust and Allow" (3:04)?
